Imagine-your daughter turning 2 and you can't believe she has absolutely no problems considering she was a 26 weeker and
only weighed a pound and a half at birth.
Imagine-thinking that she walks funny because of her early arrival.
Imagine-her finally getting diagnosed with CP and understanding a lot of things about her now.
Imagine-her having to wear leg braces and being scared for her because she already has so much trouble walking.
Imagine...your are at work and there is a terrible thunderstorm
Imagine...you feel a deep sense of dread and pain but you don't know why.
Imagine...you then remember that night nearly 2 years ago when you were at home but your baby smiles away in the hospital.
Imagine it was thundering and lightening then, but all you could do was lie in bed and pray that your baby wouldn't be afraid.
Imagine...begging your partner to drive you to the hospital at 4 am just to make sure your baby was okay.
Imagine...him refusing because the weather was so bad, the power was out and the phones down.
Imagine...wondering if I'll ever live through a thunderstorm again without feeling that "pit of the stomach" dread.
