Imagines...

Jamie

Imagine you are 18 and get pregnant. Everything going over well with parents. Being due in march. Then having bad back pain and calling the doctor to find out you were have mild contractions in the beginning of December. I get taken away to a better hospital far from friends and family.

Imagine thinking you were going to have to stay in the hospital for 3 months on complete bad rest. Then one nigh all alone you go into labor. The doctor checks you and you are 9 cm dilated. Finally your parents get there and you are rushed to delivery. You have a baby boy 2 pounds and 10 ounces.

Imagine the baby being so small you are afraid to touch him. Especially on all of the different machines. Then to find out the baby may have a genetic problem you never heard of. Then finally good news the baby is gaining weight and soon he may be able to come home. Yes this all happened to me. I am still waiting for Chayse to come home after almost 2 months. It was really hard but now I realize how special a baby is.
