Imagine...having a miscarriage at 6 weeks
Imagine...6 weeks later finding out your pregnant
Imagine...bleeding one day and going to the emergency room to find out your having twins
Imagine...telling your husband over dinner at "your" diner
Imagine...finding out one is sick at 12 weeks and could pass anytime and cause you to lose both
Imagine...planning to terminate one twin only
Imagine...the procedure not working out
Imagine...again
Imagine...again
Imagine...again
Imagine...it being too late to try again
Imagine...being told you could lose both, any day now
Imagine making it past the critical 24 week marker still with both heartbeats
Imagine still having two heartbeats at 25 weeks
Imagine finding out one friday routine appointment that the sick one has passed
Imagine going into labor 2 days later and missing your own baby shower
Imagine being in labor two days
Imagine giving birth to your still born twin at 10:13am tuesday morning and having to say goodbye while still pregnant
Imagine not giving birth to the other one till 8 HOURS LATER
Imagine finding out she has a prolapsed cord and having an emergency c-section at 6:26pm tuesday evening
Imagine not seeing your child till the next afternoon
Imagine she's 1lb 15oz and on a respirator
Imagine getting an e-coli infection, a 109 fever and going to ICU and not seeing your child for the next 3 days
Imagine being in the hospital for two weeks with her then having to leave her there
Imagine her being in the NICU and you being there every night for over two months - - through halloween, thanksgiving, christmas, new years and your birthday
Imagine bringing home a 4lb baby at 2 months old
Imagine everything working out in the end and praying things continue to work out.
Jasmina & Jhane were born at 27 weeks, Jhane passed before birth and Jasmine weighed 1.15lbs but is now 7.8lbs at 4 months old
